Privacy Policy & Cookies
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Core Pulse Digital LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Wyoming and located at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("Kick Off My Site," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit kickoffmysite.com (the "Site") or request a quote for our website design services.
This policy covers the Site and the services we provide through it. It does not cover any third-party website you may reach from a link on our Site, or a website we build for a client once that site is live under the client's own control.
If you have questions about this policy, email us at contact@kickoffmysite.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
When you fill out the contact form or email us, we collect:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide one.
- The plan you selected (Monthly, Buyout, Custom, or "Not sure yet").
- The description of your project or business, plus anything else you write in your message.
- Materials you send us so we can build your free mockup — your logo, photos of your work, service descriptions and business details — whether or not you go on to become a client.
If you become a client, we also collect the materials you send us for your website — such as business details, service descriptions, photos, and logo files — along with billing information needed to process payment.
2.2 Information collected automatically
We do not run an analytics product on the Site. What is collected automatically is the ordinary access-log information that any web server and content delivery network records in order to deliver a page, plus the request data received by the third parties listed in Section 4 when your browser loads a font or a script from them. That information typically includes:
- Your IP address.
- The date and time of the request and the page or file requested.
- Your browser type and operating system, as reported by your browser.
- The referring website or search that brought you to us, when your browser sends it.
We use these logs to keep the Site running, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your quote request and answer your questions.
- Design, build, launch, host, and support your website.
- Send project updates, proofs, and service-related messages.
- Process payments, issue invoices and receipts, and keep business records.
- Protect the Site and our clients against fraud, abuse, spam, and security threats.
- Diagnose technical problems and improve our pages, our offers, and our service.
We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share it with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.
4. Service providers we share information with
We share information only with vendors that help us run our business, and only to the extent they need it to perform their work for us. One of them — our web font provider — is not sent anything by us; it receives your request data directly from your browser because the Site loads its files. The full list:
- Hosting and content delivery (Amazon AWS) — serves the Site and stores project files, and records the access logs described in Section 2.2.
- Web fonts (Google Fonts — fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) — every page of the Site loads its typeface from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and basic request information on each page view.
- Contact form handling (our own server, hosted on Amazon AWS in Virginia, United States) — receives the message you submit through the form. No third-party form service is involved, and the form loads no third-party script.
- Payment processing (our payment processor) — handles credit card and ACH transactions. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our systems.
- Professional advisors — accountants and attorneys, where reasonably necessary.
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process; to enforce our agreements; to protect the rights, safety, or property of our clients, our company, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site does not set cookies. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels or web beacons, no session recording, and no device fingerprinting. Nothing is stored on your device to recognize you on a later visit or to follow you to other websites.
One setting is remembered, and only if you choose it. If you press "Pause animations" at the bottom of the home page, your browser saves that choice in its own local storage, under the name kom-motion, so the animations stay paused on your next visit. It never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and says nothing about who you are. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What does happen is described in Sections 2.2 and 4: your browser requests pages from our host and a typeface from Google Fonts, and each of those providers receives your IP address and basic request information as part of answering the request. Each handles that data under its own privacy policy.
You can still control cookies and site data through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete existing ones, or warn you before a cookie is stored — look under Settings, then Privacy or Site Data. Because we set none, blocking them will not affect your ability to browse the Site or contact us. Blocking site data only means a paused animation will not stay paused on your next visit.
If we ever add analytics or another tracking technology, we will update this policy to describe it before or when it goes live.
6. How long we keep information
- Quote requests and inquiries — kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can pick the discussion back up if you return. Inquiries that do not lead to a project are typically deleted or anonymized within 24 months.
- Mockup materials from people who do not become clients — the logo, photos and business details you sent us for a free mockup are kept only while the mockup is under discussion, and are deleted on request or once it is clear the project is not going ahead.
- Client project records — kept for the duration of the engagement and, for clients whose sites we host, for as long as that service is active.
- Business, billing, and tax records — kept as long as required by applicable federal and state law, and as needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
- Server and CDN access logs — retained for a short period by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, then discarded in the ordinary course.
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
7. Your privacy rights
7.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as records we must retain for tax or contract purposes.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a "limit" option. Because the Site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics technology, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of; we nonetheless honor any privacy request you send us, as described in Section 7.3.
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details from the email address associated with your inquiry.
7.2 Residents of other states
Residents of other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as those laws take effect — have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. Some of these states also provide a right to appeal a denied request; if we deny your request, we will explain why and how to appeal.
As a matter of practice, we extend these rights to every visitor and client regardless of where you live.
7.3 How to exercise your rights
Email contact@kickoffmysite.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you would like us to do. We will confirm receipt promptly and respond within the time frame required by applicable law — generally 45 days, with one extension where permitted. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
8. Children's privacy
Our Site and services are intended for business owners and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email contact@kickoffmysite.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Data security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site, access limited to the people who need it, reputable infrastructure providers, and routine review of our accounts and credentials.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full financial account numbers through the contact form.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our vendors, or the law. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be described in the updated policy. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
